Oaktree Systems
Development has developed a display simulation to model the
production flaws that can occur on large screen mosaic display systems.
This simulation is being used to assess the psycho-physical impact
of such flaws on viewers. The information from such studies can
be used to relax engineering constraints and thereby substantially
reduce the unit production costs. The work is being done in conjunction
with Southern
California College of Optometry under contract to Teledyne Electronic
Technologies of Los Angeles.
